Leadership

Grooming future and current community leaders is a prime responsibility of Chambers of Commerce, and the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce is proud of both our Leadership Clackamas County adult program and Clackamas County Young Leaders’ Project, a program designed for high school students. A new advanced leadership program will be offered this fall for the first time.

The adult program, Leadership Clackamas County, is designed to encourage and develop current and future leaders. The program meets once a month for nine months. Each month focuses on a specific topic. The adults also develop and complete a class project of their choice, generally focused on community betterment. To find our more about the class click on the LeadershipCC tab above.

The youth program, Clackamas County Young Leaders’ Project, is aimed to inspire and motivate young people to care about their community, believe in their ability and welcome responsibilities.  Clackamas County Young Leaders’ Project presents five full-day and two half-day sessions featuring experiential, problem solving simulations and exercises that reflect real world issues relevant to Clackamas County government, business or nonprofit communities. The project also includes a paid internship at an office of interest to the student. To find our more about the class click on the YoungLeaders tab above.
