Summer soccer camps offered at CCC

Coaches and players from the Clackamas Community College (CCC) team will lead several summer soccer camps this summer for high school students and youth.

The soccer camps offer individual instruction to improve ball skills, technique and player development, and include at least on hour of scrimmage time each day.

The following soccer camps are offered at the CCC Oregon City Campus:

                     High School Camp for ages 14 to 18. July 29 – Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to

noon. Cost: $95 per player.

                     Conditioning Camp for ages 14 to 18. July 29 – Aug. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost:  $50 per player (or $125 if taking both HS camp and Conditioning Camp)

                     Goal Keeper Camp for ages 14 to 18. July 29 – Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Cost: $95 per player.

                     Youth Camp for ages 5 to 13. August 5 – 8, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost $95 per player.

                     Youth Goal Keeper Camp for ages 5 to 13. Aug 5 – 8, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost: $95 per player.

CCC offers July volleyball camps for teams and individuals

High school volleyball players can work on their skills in July camps offered by the Clackamas Community College volleyball coach and members of the Cougar team.

Two team camp sessions for grades 9 through 12 will be offered Tuesday through Thursday, July 23 – 25. The afternoon session runs from 2 to 5 p.m., and the evening session runs from 6 to 9 p.m. The team sessions are for complete teams of 10 to14 players. The cost is $1,200 per team.

A three-day skills camp for individuals in grades 9 through 12 will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday through Thursday, July 23 – 25. Players will work on passing, setting, digging, hitting, blocking, serving, defensive tactics, offensive systems and play sets, conditioning and plyometrics. The cost is $90 per player.

Participants must wear proper athletic clothes, knee pads and shoes, and bring a water bottle. All sessions take place in the gym in Randall Hall at CCC’s Oregon City campus. Space in the camps is limited.
