Annual Christmas Giving Breakfast
Be Part of This Holiday Tradition
The Annual Christmas Giving Breakfast is a cherished holiday tradition held each December, bringing together local businesses, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and Chamber members to celebrate the spirit of giving. This festive event serves as both a seasonal celebration and a meaningful opportunity to support a deserving nonprofit member through collective generosity and community involvement.
Each year, volunteers gather donated items from Chamber members and partner organizations, which are raffled off during the breakfast event. These raffles typically generate up to $5,000 annually, with all proceeds gifted directly to the selected nonprofit recipient. Since its inception, the Christmas Giving Breakfast has become one of the Chamber’s most impactful charitable events, strengthening connections across the business and nonprofit communities while supporting organizations that serve our region.
With more than 200 guests in attendance each year, the Christmas Giving Breakfast offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with holiday cheer. Attendees enjoy a delicious breakfast, festive gifting, and the camaraderie that comes from giving back together. A highlight of the morning is a special visit from Santa and his Elves, adding to the joyful and family-friendly spirit of the event.
Supporting Local Nonprofits Through Holiday Giving
At its core, the Annual Christmas Giving Breakfast is about investing in the organizations that make a difference in our community. The event is open to nonprofit Chamber members who wish to participate by submitting a Letter of Intent outlining their mission, impact, and how the awarded funds would support their work.
The Chamber Ambassador Team plays a central role in this process. After reviewing all submitted Letters of Intent, Ambassador Team members vote to determine the nonprofit recipient for that year. Votes are tallied, and the organization receiving the most support is selected as the Christmas Giving Breakfast beneficiary. This peer-driven selection process ensures transparency, engagement, and thoughtful consideration of each participating nonprofit’s contributions to the community.
