Exceed Enterprises held its annual Fall Harvest Celebration at The Aerie at Eagle Landing on Saturday where nearly 200 guests contributed $51,000 to support people with disabilities in our local community.

Throughout the western-themed event, guests enjoyed the Garden Party (sponsored by Bob’s Red Mill) that included cooking demonstrations and appetizers inspired by the good ole’ Wild West from students at the Art Institute of Portland. Guests were also invited to participate in a raffle with 14 very exciting prize packages, such as a 2-night stay at the Inn at Otter Crest and original artwork created by some of Exceed’s Activities Toward Enrichment program participants.

Margy Lynch, a long-time television news reporter formerly of KOIN-TV and KATU Television emceed the evening’s program, which included a new video entitled “Exceed…in Your Community” that gave guests insight to how Exceed helps program participants become part of their community and how their lives have been changed by being part of the Exceed team.

“The goal of the event was to make new friends and celebrate the diversity that exists all around us,” says Philip Stuva, Director of Development. “To that end, this year’s fundraiser has advanced Exceed’s mission-driven work of providing life changing programs and services to the adults with developmental disabilities who work, live and play in our community.”
