Gresham-Barlow School District seeks applicants for Budget Committee

The Gresham-Barlow School District is seeking applicants for two open positions on the district’s Budget Committee. The Budget Committee includes the Board of Directors and seven volunteer citizens who are appointed to serve three-year terms.

The school district’s Budget Committee has the responsibility for receiving and reviewing the budget document and the budget message, meeting publicly to review the proposed budget, and approving the annual budget.

To be eligible for the appointment, the community member:

* Must live and be registered to vote in the district

and

* Cannot be an officer, agent, or employee of the district

The deadline to submit an application for this volunteer position is Friday, October 4, 2013.
