    We Want To Know You

There are many opportunities for networking in a variety of ways and with a variety of people in the North Clackamas Chamber.

While some events, like AM Business Connections or Business After Hours are more about networking than others, there are also events like luncheons, issues breakfasts, workshops and assisting on a Chamber team, all of which provide networking opportunities. Be sure to check the calendar to see how you can get involved today!

    AM Business Connection

Every Friday morning from 7:30 – 9:00 AM, Chamber members gather at a different host business location for a morning networking event. This event is free, and a continental breakfast is provided by the host business. These events are great for networking and building your business. The Chamber events calendar is where you can find upcoming locations for the weekly AM Business Connection. Registration is not needed to attend an ABC and guests are welcome.

If your business would like to host an ABC, BAH, or Showcase, contact the office at 503-654-7777. You can also email us at info@yourchamber.com.

    AM Business Connection Exchange (BCE)

Once per quarter, the AM Business Connection is in the format of a speed networking event. Members are randomly assigned tables and for several minutes each person at the table gets an opportunity to tell their business story to the others. After one round, you switch tables and tell your business story to six or seven others. Typically, time allows 3 rounds of networking. This event is free, and a continental breakfast is provided by the host business. The Chamber events calendar is where you can find upcoming locations for the weekly AM Business Connection and upcoming Exchanges. Registration is not needed for BCEs.

    Business After Hours (BAH)

Periodically, a member will request to host a Business After Hours event which is a time to casually interact and build contacts for your business. In addition to networking you’ll enjoy snacks and adult beverages (supplied by the host), and perhaps win a raffle prize or two. BAH’s are generally held for about 2 hours between the evening hours. You can see where upcoming BAH’s are scheduled by clicking on the calendar. Registration is not needed for BAH’s.

    Showcasing Opportunities

Showcase events are also scheduled during our Friday morning networking and are offered quarterly throughout the year. You can also showcase your business by hosting an AM Business Connection or Business After Hours. Sponsoring a hole at the Chamber Golf Scramble also allows you to showcase your business in a fun and interactive atmosphere.

    Issues Breakfast’s and Legislative Luncheon’s

Each year we hold Eggs ‘N Issues Breakfasts and Legislative Luncheons. These special events will focus on advocacy, political topics and candidate races. This is a great opportunity to get in front of elected officials and industry experts to ask your questions to better understand legislation being considered at local and state levels of government. It’s also a great opportunity to speak directly to your elected officials in a more intimate setting. Check the calendar, for the next Issues event and make plans to attend. Registration and payment are required in advance.

    Business & Industry Forums

The Chamber and its partners will host major luncheons throughout the year to learn more about various industries and the challenges and successes they are experiencing in their business. A wide range of topics are covered. (land use, water and environmental issues, regulations and taxes, housing, transportation and much more). The programs are well attended by a wide variety of community leaders and corporate executives. Check the calendar, for the next Forum and make plans to attend. Registration and payment are required in advance.
