February children’s programs – Ledding Library

Below are the upcoming programs at Ledding Library of Milwaukie. All programs are FREE and take place at Ledding Library, 10660 SE 21st , Milwaukie, 503-786-7580.

Weekly storytimes & crafts

Mondays* at 10:30am:  NEW!  Toddler Storytime.  Ages 1-3.

Mondays* at 1:00pm:  Book Babies.  Ages 0-18 months.

            *No storytime Monday, February 17

Tuesdays at 10:30am: Preschool Storytime.  Ages 3-5.       

Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00pm:  Drop-in arts & crafts for preschoolers.

Wednesdays at 10:30am: Toddler Storytime.  Ages 1-3. 

               Wednesdays at 6:30pm:  Family Storytime.  All ages.

               Thursdays at 10:30am: Preschool Storytime.  Ages 3-5.

Saturday crafts

Saturday, February 1 at 2:00pm:  Button buddy craft for ages 5 & up.

Saturday, February 8 at 2:00pm:  Valentine craft for ages 5 & up.

               Saturday, February 22 at 2:00pm:  Daffodil suncatcher craft for ages 5 & up.

Homeschool Programs                     

Thursdays, February 6 & 20 at 1:30pm:  Human Body: Head to Toe!  Homeschoolers will learn about the amazing human body.  Includes craft time.  Ages 5 & up.

Puppy Tales!

Saturdays, February 8 & 22 from 10:30-11:30am:  Puppy Tales!  Read aloud to a therapy dog named Tempo and improve your reading at the same time.  Call to sign up for a 15 minute session:  503.786.7588.

Russian Storytime

Toddler Dance Party

Friday, February 14 at 10:30am:  Toddler Dance Party!  Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your toddler at our dance party.  Toddlers ages 1-3 and their caregivers are invited to bop, dance & sing with us.

 Spanish Storytime: 

               Saturday February 15 at 2:00pm.  Spanish storytime for children of all ages. Sábado, 15 de febrero a las 2:00: Hora de cuentos en Español para los niños de todas las edades. ¡Gratis! 

Book Buddies                                                                                                                       

               Tuesday, February 18 at 4pm:  Book buddies: a book group for ages 7-9.  We’llread books nominated for this year’s Beverly Cleary Children’s Choice Award. Read The one and only Stuey Lewis: stories from the second grade, by Jane Schoenberg, for February.

Talk Back to Books:                                                                                                            

               Tuesday, February 25 at 4:30pm:  A book group for young teens ages 10 & up. Book TBA.
