Each year we organize special legislative events that provide updates from Congressional and State Legislators that helps to keep local businesses up to date on what our elected officials are doing for us. These cozy events provide an opportunity for the general public to come face-to-face with Congressmen, Senators and Representatives, to provide a venue where constructive audience Q&A is encouraged so that we can all stay better informed.
These events are held in advance, during and/or “Wrap Ups” at the end of sessions. Your elected officials are present to answer many public questions to allow us to provide input in advance of decisions and help us better understand decisions that came out of the legislative session and what their hopes are going into future sessions.
Also held each year are the State of the County and State of the Cities Forums.
State of the County will host our Clackamas County Board of Commissioners. This is an opportunity for the public to hear the successes and future goals of our County governance. Each Commissioner provides updates on projects they are working on to ensure the well-being of our community.
State of the Cities will host city mayors from Happy Valley, Gladstone, Milwaukie and Oregon City. Our mayors take a collaborative approach to solving problems in the region but also provide us updates on individual solutions and issues they are solving at the local levels.

Registration is always required at these events and some costs are associated with meals should you choose that option.
